HARRY BLUTSTEIN has been a freelance journalist since 1972, when he reported on environmental issues for The Nation Review. Since then his feature articles have appeared in The Age, The Australian, AFR, Current Affairs Bulletin, Arena, The Big Issue, The Canberra Times and The West Australian. He has also had Op-Ed pieces published by The Age, National Times and AFR. Between 1992 and 1995 he was feature writer for Single Life and in 1972 he was editor of the science magazine Newtrino.
Harry’s interests are wide-ranging, and his articles and features have addressed issues like work-based childcare, shared custody after divorce, green skyscrapers, censorship of children’s books, politics in Quebec, environmental sustainability, relationship problems, passive smoking and human-interest stories.
Harry is also author of An Insider’s Guide to Australia (Kummerly & Frey) and Über-Globalization.
